Let’s dig our hole a little deeper, shall we?
The assumption that oppressive prejudices and racism are tied to a particular philosophical or political belief, or are present in all members of a dominant culture is a lie designed to gain and perpetuate power by those who would otherwise claim to fight against racism and oppressive prejudice. Those bad attitudes cross the political spectrum and need to be dealt with by non-political means. The use of politics only takes advantage of “useful idiots” who buy into the lies of their various movements to maintain a sense of perceived power.
In other words, demonizing and oppressing another human being is evil regardless of who does it, whether from dominant, passive, or oppressed culture, and political solutions only use their to their own nefarious advantage.
