Baptism Matters
Your baptism matters. It is more than a symbol, though not a superstition. By it, you proclaim your new identity in Christ. God is present. It is not something that one should feel like they can tack on to their profession of faith at some point - later - if they feel like it or get around to it. Evangelicals, our cavalier attitude toward baptism is a failure of epic proportions. It is a sacred event and ought to be treated as such.
